Elizabeth Barnes is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Virginia. Her research interests are divided between metaphysics, social philosophy, feminist philosophy, and ethics. She’s particularly interested in the places where these topics overlap. She’s written a book on disability (The Minority Body), and is currently writing a book about the nature of health. Lately, she’s also been thinking a lot about the metaphysics of social structures.
