Katie Devin Orenstein (she/her) is a director, writer, producer, and intimacy choreographer born and raised in New York City. She has worked with Berkshire Playwrights Lab, New York Theatre Workshop, The Drama League (NV/NV Fellow), The Muny, Guggenheim Works & Process, Irony Point, and indie companies including Firebird and Imaginarium. She trained in intimacy choreography with Chelsea Pace and Theatrical Intimacy Education.
She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2023 with a degree in Film, Theater, and Middle Eastern Studies, and is a two-time winner of Dartmouth’s Eleanor Frost Playwriting Award and winner of the Clifford Gurdin Undergraduate Directing Prize. She currently works in Broadway production, including Purlie Victorious, Our Town, and Maybe Happy Ending.
