Dr. Haase is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and a member of the Executive Committee of the Helix Center. Her professional activities include work as editor, writer, and teacher for The Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry, The Association of Dynamic Psychiatry, and The Chinese American Psychoanalytic Alliance in the areas of bipolar disorder, sexuality, and an emerging interest in global psychiatry.
